Why Innovation Is As OVERrated As Kim Kardashian

Got this question a little while back…

QUESTION: “Robert, what’s the best way to come up with new ideas to start a business online?”

MY ANSWER: Don’t.

Just don’t.

An important caveat…

In my experience innovation is HIGHLY overrated, especially for fresh-off-thy-boat marketers (3 years or less experience). If you’re a marketing executive at Apple, then YES, you should be focused entirely on innovating.

But, if you’re new to the the game…

Fuh-get-about-it.

Forget innovation all together.

First you need to understand the basics.

I made this mistake in my first few months online…

I thought I would be “smart” and do something new and innovative.

What I ended up with was…

…about $500 down the drain.

I promptly went on to have a temper tantrum and whine that…

“NOBODY makes money online. It’s all a bunch of B.S.!”

“All internet marketing is cockamamie!”

(Ok…I didn’t say cockamamie, but that’s a cool word.)

What I wish I would have done was learn how the best marketers are making their dough. What I really needed to do was understand their proven strategy and systems – NOT innovate.

Trust me — creating a money making system isn’t nearly as complicated as I initially thought.

(In fact, it’s child’s play.)

Here’s the kicker…

Most of the really rich internet marketers aren’t intelligent. (Most are about as intelligent as Kim Kardashian.) Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel…They simply find a proven system, and follow the directions to a “T”.

No need to be creative or brilliant.

Just a lil’ pig-headed determination.

But here’s the challenge…

Finding the *right* person to listen to.

Everyone and their mother is an internet expert theses days.

And quite frankly it’s annoying as heck.

After getting burned by following the wannab-es I found a guy that’s truly a master of his craft. Every aspect of his internet business runs like a finely tuned machine.

Nothin’ fancy.

Just a boat load of sales everyday.

And he’s sharing his no frills advice here:
