“All advertisers and marketers are evil.”

You’ve heard it before…

“All advertisers and marketers are evil.”

These scum sucking folks will do whatever it takes to part you from your hard earned cash. They’re all evil manipulators that use sneaky tactics to brainwash you into buying crap-ola that you don’t need.

Yikes. Before we go any further…

Consider this quote:

“Advertising is only evil if it advertises evil things.” ~David Olgilvy (widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry)

Let’s dig in…

I’d go as far as saying, as a fellow advertiser, it’s your OBLIGATION to persuade people into buying your stuff so long as it honestly helps them.

Here’s a hypothetical example…

You have a B.A. new product.

It helps people eliminate stress and anxiety.

People that were once were borderline suicidal are now happy people, capable of managing the stresses of everyday life.

(All thanks to your product.)

Let me ask you something.

Isn’t it your duty to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to help people that suffer from excessive stress and depression? In other words, isn’t it your job to aggressively convince your market to buy what you’re selling?

And if you have a *legitimate* product…

You are obliged to use every persuasion trick in the book.

I’m giving you permission.

So, get out there and sell the crap outta your product.

Yea, you’ll make a lot more money in the process.

(Always nice, right?)

But more importantly…

You’ll HELP more people.

The world (and the internet specifically) needs more people fighting for good — not ruthlessly tricking people only for personal gain. Us internet marketers have a bad enough reputation as it is.

My advice for the day…

Stop selling from your heels.

Become a master of influence.

And do it all in order to help more peeps.

Now.

Selling on the internet is tricky.

Online, people are naturally reluctant to trust you. (More than likely they’ve been burned in the past.) And, understanding HOW to sell will make or break you.

It’s the single most important thing you can learn.

Personally, I’ve read hundreds of business books.

Most of them based on marketing, selling and persuasion. Only a handful have earned a permanent spot on my shelf. If you want to sell WAY more stuff…

(And help hoards of people in the process.)

Hop on over to my “Toolbox Page.”

I’ve compiled everything into one neat and tidy place for you.

Anyways, you can check it out here:

Alrighty.

That about wraps it up for toady.

Me needs some more coffee.
